When shipping any type of media, it is extremely important that your media is packaged carefully to avoid any additional damage during shipment. Proper packaging will ensure a greater degree of recovery of your data. 3 easy steps will insure a safe delivery of your media to one of our facilities.


If possible, wrap the media in an anti-static material.


Pack the media in a box twice the size of the media, using foam, bubble or any anti-shock / vibration material. This is to ensure that the media does not move around in the package during shipment.

Data Recovery Process:

Step 1: 100% Free Data Recovery Service Evaluation With Written Quote

Once your media is received at any of our state of the art facilities worldwide, it is immediately taken through a free, non-intrusive evaluation to determine the causes of data loss. Our experienced customer service staff will notify you promptly with the results, provide you with a written quotation and confirm the next steps of your hard drive, raid array, tape drive, notebook, or other data recovery service before you incur any charges. Your authorization of the quotation is required for us to proceed with the full data recovery service.

Timeframe: 4-6 hours from the time your hard drive is received.

Step 2: Data Recovery Is Performed According To Evaluation Findings and Client Approval

Upon approval, the data recovery process will proceed according to your target file specifications and evaluation assessment. All of our data recovery projects are performed in a fully secured laboratory environment. Furthermore, hard drives suffering from physical damage will be performed in a class 100 static-free cleanroom facility to ensure maximum drive efficiency.

Step 3: Data Is Recovered And Placed In Quality Control For Authentication

Upon recovery, your data is taken through a strict quality control procedure. This process will ensure that our data recovery team has recovered the necessary target files that you have identified as most important. The quality control team will also test additional file folders to ensure your recovered data is in useable condition.

Step 4: Recovered Data Is Packaged and Returned With Proper Loading Instructions

Once our quality control team has verified the authenticity of the recovered data, we will then take the necessary steps to properly package and return the data to you. In most cases your data will be returned on CDs, however we do offer various destination media options for a nominal fee should you require it.
